I have had a terrible headache all day, and wanted an easy project for today. I couldn’t find my small watercolor paper and didn’t have the energy to keep looking so I thought I’d get a head start on my handmade Valentine’s Day cards with one tonight.

My husband does not like conversation hearts as a candy. He likens it to eating chalk, but I think he will find these candies a little more “palettable.” See what I did there? We are a pun loving family so I’m sure he will get a chuckle reading his card.

Tomorrow I’ll have more cards to share as that is my plan for the morning Zoom with June, with my art group. There are three more I need for my family and if I have time I thought I’d make one for each of my pottery classmates to pass out at the studio Wednesday.
