I put bird seed out for the birds in front of my house. My cat loves to sit in the window and stare at the birds who visit our feeder. His tail twitching with excitement, I imagine he is daydreaming of pouncing on our avian friends. Today we had a beautiful cardinal stop by and help himself to a seedy snack. He was nice and fat, probably a frequent visitor to feeders around the neighborhood. I was inspired to paint him today.
