Today I decided to revisit a painting I did several years ago. It was a plein aire painting done at Camp Nissokone in Oscoda. The original was done with crayon and kids watercolors, but turned out neat. My husband has it at his desk at work. Working from a photo I took on my phone of the painting I revisited it using my go to set of Windsor & Newton Cotman watercolors. I find the pocket set to be a great everyday set I can throw in my bag if I’m out or rest on the arm of my chair if I’m working in my living room.

Today’s version of the Dandelions is smaller, 4×6, but fun to play with. This is a good size to use on cards – maybe I’ll use this as a birthday card for a summer bday this year.
What is your everyday paint set?
