It was a lot of fun participating in the Art and Found Day. I had my daughter help pick out which watercolors to give away and she picked a group which were variations of flowers or plants in a vase or pot. She included the painting I just finished last night. Along with that bouquet, she chose my shamrock painting and my pottery pitcher and flowers watercolor. Three great choices. I hope their new owners like them as much as us!

Art at Blossom Heath Park

After choosing the art, I matted them and wrapped them up with the Free Art sign taped to the front. We didn’t have time to put them out before we needed to be at the War Memorial to hang the art in our upcoming show, but afterwards we hid them around the city.

Speaking of our show, we got all the art up and it looks fantastic. When all the art came in yesterday, I was worried that it would be too much to fit the space but I’m glad I was wrong.

If you are local to Detroit I highly suggest checking out the show. The Welcome to Detroit show is running concurrently in the main gallery so it’s a two for the price of one! (Joking- their is no admission cost to either of the shows)

Do you have any exhibitions or shows coming up soon?
