Today I finished up and submitted my screenplay to the NYCMidnight contest. Then I attended the Opening reception for the Gilda Snowden Memorial Exhibition at the Scarab Club. It was originally scheduled for yesterday, but delayed due to the snow storm.
It was great seeing all the art there, many by artists I admire and follow on Instagram. It feels good to be included amongst them. Antonio looked fantastic in the lighting of the Scarab Club. The light caught the clear glaze over his eyes and it looks like he is holding back tears.

My mom took this great picture of me next to Antonio. The angle is flattering and it captures the energy of the room.
