This spring there have been no shortage of Canadian Geese around. They are quite beautiful to look at, but they leave quite the mess behind. Also they can be quite scary if they happen to have a nest close by to where you are walking.

This particular goose was quite friendly and posed while I snapped a few pictures. I rarely use the black from my palette but to capture the bold Canadian goose head I made an exception. I toned it down a little for the legs but that stock black is pretty intense.
