Today was a good day for pottery. I took home my gear bowl which turned out fantastically as well as a couple of pears. Then I experimented with the bisque molds and stamps I made last week.

I also spent some of the end of the class time assembling the pieces of my marionette doll with nichrome wire. She articulates nicely now, but we will see how this thin nichrome wire stands up to this task. It is considerably thinner than the wire I used for my robot legs a month or two ago. I decided to cold finish her with acrylic paint when she is out of the final firing. This will give me more control over how the final product will look.
