Today was the Gallery Talk for the Gilda Snowden Memorial Exhibition at the Scarab Club. I love hearing all the artists talk about their art. I didn’t have much to say in comparison to some of the great stories I heard tonight, but I’m very glad I attended the event.

I even had a little time this evening to make a new composite photograph. I decided to use some shots I took of my recent pottery pieces combined with a photo I took of the sky during the solar eclipse. The glasses I was using to filter the light slid aside and I got this interesting image. I think it paired nicely with the gears and textured looks from the r pottery layers.
Do you attend gallery talks for art shows in your area?
