Today is the first day of the NFL Draft here in Detroit and our governor declared today to be Honolulu Blue Day. As I was out and about today I saw lots of Lions wear and plenty of blue shirts with everyone getting into the spirit.

I decided to bring the blue theme to my art today and painted some abstract flowers. I’ve never really painted flowers like this before, mainly because I’m too impatient to let my layers dry, but I think they turned out nice, even if they weren’t all completely dry before I added the water for the petals.
