Ancient Ruin, Jacquelyn Block

I was experimenting with combining my watercolor paintings with photographs in photoshop again this evening. I let my son stay up a little late tonight as it’s just him and me tonight as the rest of the family is up at volunteer weekend at Camp Nissokone. Next year my youngest might be old enough to be more help than distraction and we will all go up to help. But first r this year at least, he is very excited to spend the weekend with him and me time.

Since I didn’t have a whole lot of time once I got him all tucked in I figured it was a good day to play around in photoshop. The above piece is my favorite from tonight’s efforts. I like the color and texture of the piece. The photo was taken in the Toledo Museum of Art and the watercolor was from a work in progress I started last week.

What are your favorite and least favorite aspects of this composition?
