Today a rare thing happened. My daughter granted me permission to brag about her publicly. She decided rather than starting high school virtually due to the pandemic, she would like to try homeschooling. Along with that came the opportunity to take dual enrolment courses at the community college. She loved the college courses so much that much of her high school credits were earned through this method. She loved taking the college courses so much she would even take them during the summer semester. All that hard work paid off, with her earning her associates of the arts degree tonight. She is now a third generation MCC graduate, following in her grandmother and my shoes.

I am very proud of her graduating in the honor society and with suma cum laude.
