So I got up in the wee hours early this morning to catch the Northern light display. I had been out last night but didn’t see anything, but then I read online to point your phone camera at the sky and voila! it worked. I think there is just far too much light pollution around me to see them unaided but I didn’t know about the phone camera trick.

I have tried searching for them numerous times before without any luck, so this was a super exciting event for me. I will definitely be trying this trick again the next time they are predicting them in my area.

I am still working on my screenplay today. I’m behind schedule, but after hearing about Uncle Mike’s passing, I just didn’t have the motivation to write again until late this afternoon. I’m still just typing in the story that I hand wrote in my notebook yesterday. It takes a bit of time getting the formatting right for a screenplay. When I wrote it yesterday, I wrote it down as prose. Not necessarily the most efficient, but the ideas were flowing great yesterday and I just wanted to get them down while they were fresh.
