Down the canon, Jacquelyn Block

I hardly ever do throwback Thursday posts but today I was going through decades of photos to pic the ones I’m printing for my daughter’s brag board at her graduation party. I came across a few non-Gwen pics that I really liked and thought I’d share them today. The first one above was taken on a civil war battlefield tour. I pointed my camera down the barrel of a canon. It’s neat how you can see the rifling.

Funicular tracks-Old Quebec City, Jacquelyn Block

The next photo is one I took in Old Quebec City. We rode the Funicular up this steep track and what a neat view of the tracks you get from the tram car. My third photo was also taken on that trip to Quebec.

Window in Quebec Ramparts, Jacquelyn Block

I love how the wall slopes into the long narrow slit window. It gives a good view of the area outside without exposing the viewer to much danger.

What are some of your favorite old photographs?
