Today was the last of our summer paint-outs. We returned again this year to the RiverWalk and Milliken Park. I finished up this sketch by the carousel, before walking and taking photographs. The Diamond Belle’s Exhaust fumes were a bit much for me, especially with the humid heavy air.

I took a lot of photos and narrowing it down to just twenty to share with you was tough. If you live in the Detroit area or you come to Detroit for a visit this is a must-see attraction. Don’t let the fear of parking keep you away, there is ample free parking right on Atwater, near the carousel.
