Today’s Inktober challenge of rust brought to mind old machinery, which led to gears which brought to mind my gear face sculptures. My drawing uses zig realbrush pens with warm colors, perfect for the rusty theme.

For my photo a day I took pictures of all the clay pieces I was working with this afternoon. It was a productive day, having completed several pieces ready for the bisque fire. I really like how that tiny owl turned out.

I worked a bit on my screenplay but have much to write yet. Lots of dialogue to fill in and fill out.

My deadline is looming; what tricks do you use to help reach goals which are quickly approaching?
