My dad had a Pentax Asahi camera and after he died I tried to take some pictures with it but couldn’t figure out how to get it to work. I was also afraid to mess with it too much, so as not to break it. This was back in the early days of the internet so I couldn’t find any instructions or manual on the internet. It is a beautiful camera, and I wish my father would have shown me how to use it when I was young.
But for me now the most practical camera is the one on my phone. As I am always carrying my phone, I can get a picture and time anywhere. Very convenient. And the pro version of my phone has a great quality camera in it. The more recent versions out for sale now offer better quality lenses with higher optical zooms, but my older model still takes amazing photos.

So my son, mother and myself carved some pumpkins we bought at the farmer’s market. My son picked out a white pumpkin this year. It looked great with the design he carved and the red led provides a finishing touch. We will have them in action for the Halloween event on my mom’s street.
Do you carve pumpkins?
