Today I was able to get to the clay studio. I had quite a few pieces ready to be glazed. I spent the whole time glazing pieces, and was quite productive. I spent a good hour working on my cherry blossoms. I decided to use underglaze so I don’t need to worry about stilling it or having it stick to the shelf.

I also did a rub and scrub on my ugly face vases. A few people commented on how much they like them. It’s nice when you can have fun with something and have it resonate with others too.
My pumpkin will be ready for Thanksgiving, even if it missed Halloween this year. And I glazed two of the texture vases I made a few weeks ago. I’m eager to see how they turn out.
November is already here and soon it will be Christmas. It seems both distant and at the doorstep. I should really start making my gifts now. Ceramics take time and I always seem to have a lack of just that.
