Today is Wednesday and that mean clay studio day! I had a couple finished pieces and several ready to glaze. I started by glazing my three nesting nativity sets, then some mini owls, an ugly face vase, and a small textured dish.

After all that glazing I was ready to get my hands on some fresh clay. First I decided to make a set of four worry stones for my daughter and her roommates for their Christmas stockings. They’ll get them before finals week so they may come in handy.

I then decided to roll out a slab and texture it with lace. I then used my kitty cutter to make some ornaments to give away this year. I’ll underglaze both sides and but a clear coat on the lace side. I hope they turn out as good as I am imagining.
