Patchwork hills, Jacquelyn

Today I helped my little guy on his artwork for his Religious Education poster. We brainstormed ideas last week and today he finished coloring in his design. I think it turned out cute. The design is simple to help make it doable for him to color. He is a careful crayon artist, but very slooooow. We have been working on less precision over the large areas. Save that for the detail bits.

Of course the photo of him with his nice smile is the one with his older brother giving him bunny ears. This evening I took some pictures around my living room with my favorite camera filter. I have a quilt I bought for a charity auction fundraiser which yielded some nice abstract landscape looks.

Thanksgiving Day meal preparation has started today, I try to avoid last minute runs to the store on thanksgiving morning, so I hope I’ve remembered everything I need for my recipes. I bring freshly made cranberry sauce and corn casserole every year. I at least can be sure that these dishes a gluten free and my husband and kids love the corn casserole so much- if I bring it they know that there will be corn casserole on the menu. Win-win in my book.

What do you make for Thanksgiving dinner?
