The day following Thanksgiving is a big shopping day in the United States. My mom and I have our tradition to shop together and kick off our Christmas buying together. This year my daughter, now an adult, joined us. She was a lovely addition to our tradition, and I hope she continues to join us in future years.

As for shopping, I try to refrain from buying for myself, but I did pick up a spray can of fixative, so now I can work on more Charcoal mixed media pieces. I was hesitant to do more, until I could store them without worrying about smudging them.
