Today was my youngest’s birthday. We crammed a lot in today and he had a great day, but now I’m struggling to keep awake to art and post this evening. My lap accomplice here is not helping. Once the family retired for the night he hopped up on my lap for a cuddle. I figured he wouldn’t stay long, but his purring was lulling, and I caught myself bobbing my head on more than one occasion. I decided I’d take a few pictures of my lap warmer to share.

My daughter and her roommates loved their Christmas ‘stockings.’ I came up to her room to deliver them when I dropped her off after the birthday dinner. They are a really great group of girls and I feel fortunate that my daughter has such a good relationship with her roomies.

It is time to kick the cat off my lap and head to bed.
