Today was a back to back to back busy day. While I’m exhausted and ready for bed, I am fortunate that this statue and her shadow caught my eye as I was heading into the GPAA for a board meeting. I allowed myself a few seconds to snap a picture before heading into the gallery where we meet. I knew when I saw it that it would lend itself well to the filtered light series, and so, even as tired as I am this evening, I had inspiration keeping me alert.

I was intrigued by how the statue is holding a bird feeder, while due to where the shadow falls on the building, it looks like the shadow is holding a bird.
