Finished pieces, Jacquelyn Block

Today I had a nice haul of finished pieces to bring home. I am pleased with how everything turned out. There was an informational webinar for the Kresge Fellowship which cut into our regularly scheduled pottery time, but I was still able to glaze two pieces. My wizard gnome looks really great with the underglaze applied. I even glazed the gourd sculpture that has been waiting on my shelf for at least a month.

I still had a little time left so I decided to make a big batch of buttons. My daughter is starting to really get into crochet, and I plan on giving her some for her future projects. I also may sell a couple sets at the pop up sale.

Lots of buttons, Jacquelyn Block

I plan on stopping by sometime tomorrow to glaze the buttons and single fire them. This way they have a better chance of being ready by Christmas.

What projects have you been working on this week?
