Today was the Artist2Artist meetup hosted by the GPAA for the artists with pieces in the current Food in Art show at their Gallery in the War Memorial. I really enjoy these sessions and feel fortunate that I’ve been able to participate in them this year. It is a great opportunity to get to know the other artist who are active in the metro Detroit area, as well as to share resources and techniques.

I took a selfie at the session to demonstrate how I make my Filtered Light series, as they have been getting a lot of attention and questions lately.

I did also make it to the pottery studio this afternoon and finished glazing the remaining buttons. I forgot to take a picture, since I was rushing to clean up and leave to pick up my oldest from college for winter break.
