Snow Family, Jacquelyn Block

Today we took a drive around our neighborhood to look at the Christmas light displays. I didn’t get too many pictures as I was driving, but I did pull over a few times to snap a few pics. It was snowing a very wet snow, so I was thinking my idea of stopping at the Blossom Heath Tunnel of Lights wouldn’t work out for tonight, but as we were on the way back towards home, the snow slowed enough for us to stop and get out and get some hot cocoa. We didn’t stay out too long as it still was quite windy and wet, but it was worth the discomfort to share all the lights with the kids.

My mother-in-law (a.k.a. my biggest art fan) saw my wizard gnome and bought it on the spot, so it won’t be at the sale Saturday, but I have lots more ceramic and paintings which are still available.

If you are in the SE Michigan area You should stop by on Saturday and shop from me and my fellow local artists. There will be something for everyone still left on your holiday shopping list. Stock up for birthdays too!

Do you like to gift handmade items, either made by yourself or a local artist?
