Yay, today I was able to make another of the pear people I have been obsessed with lately. When I got to the studio this afternoon I saw that I had quite a few bisqued pieces ready to glaze, and I was concerned that I might not have time enough to make a pear person, but fortunately that wasn’t the case.

This cat plate was one of the pieces that I glazed today. I used chun plum for the features and snow over the rest. I’m not the best at keeping my hands steady, so it’ll be interesting to see how it turns out. Worst case scenario: my cat gets a new dish.

I spent some time writing today. Only about 20 minutes, but it was a busy day so that’s an accomplishment. I just love these pears; I almost cried looking at those sleepy little faces. Even if nobody else appreciates these lil guys, they bring me so much joy.
