Today was my sister’s birthday and we went to see Wicked in honor of her special day. It’s been a while since I last saw a movie in the theater- Everything Everywhere All At Once, with my friend Brianscotte, of Blessed Memory. It was a good movie, very different from the book. I was surprised that it was a PG rating when my daughter suggested we bring the 7 year old. While there were kids in the audience and the movie was far less dark than the book, I’m glad my little guy decided to stay home. The kids in the seats in front of us couldn’t stay still and it was very distracting. I think it’s best for teen and up.

This evening I was working on reflected light versions of some of my older watercolor paintings. These were a couple of my favorites.
I am looking forward to tomorrow’s family Christmas gathering- my uncle is going to show my sister and I how to use my dad’s old camera. I have three rolls of black and white film ready to shoot. I will show off the best shots once the film is developed.
Do you use film cameras anymore?
