I am happy that I finished one of the Fellowship applications that are due in a couple days. I completed the Literary arts in poetry application this evening. While I haven’t started filling in the Visual arts application, I have at least chosen my discipline for the application- new media. I feel that this will allow me to show off my composite photography, digital art and my Reflected Light series. I have a couple of awards for my composite photography which will look good on the resume section and while the Reflected Light Series is still quite new- I have three pieces accepted into upcoming shows.

Of course I’m still creating new pieces every day, so I’ll have to work fast on the application so I don’t change my mind on which eight pieces to select. I really like the piece I did today. It’s the ophthalmoscope from my daughter’s recent eye exam. I have it rotated and I really like the effect.
