It has started the drop into subzero temperatures here in Metro Detroit. I am not looking forward to leaving my house these next few days. Our house usually keeps fairly warm, but it feels drafty tonight- although some of that is probably in my head.

When I went to my car this morning the back tire looked like is was frozen in a puddle of ice. When I came home I made sure to pull up the driveway a bit so I could see the impression. Just as I hoped, there was a clear imprint of my car tire in the ice. That inspired today’s filtered light image.

Although I did want to share this gem from my morning play. I sent it to my kids for our snap chat streaks and it got the reaction I expected. Good to know they are paying attention every once in a while.
