Done, in Filtered Light, Jacquelyn Block

This morning after taking my son to the school bus, I thought it would be a good idea to shovel the inch of snow that had fallen overnight. It was pretty light fluffy stuff so not terrible to clear, so I figured I’d be nice and do my neighbors to either side too. When I finished my fingers were sore from the cold and my asthma was reminding me that cold is a trigger for me. And then an hour later it snowed again. By the time I got home from the afterschool bus pick up it was like I hadn’t shoveled. This time I only did my walk and drive, but it was enough to zap my energy and further agitate my asthma. And now I have a head ache too. I hope I didn’t run myself down too much that I’ll catch the bug going around my family. I really need to do a better job of pacing myself.

Unwell in Filtered Light, Jacquelyn Block

I did make a neat looking filtered light landscape abstract from a previous painting of a migraine aura. I rotated it and zoomed in, to create this piece.

How are you holding up this January?
