Today I am feeling much better than yesterday, but my asthma is still super sensitive to the cold air. And second hand cigarette smoke does me in. I’m so tired of coughing.

My phone randomly shows me pictures that I’ve taken through the years, and today I was reminded of my visit to Quebec City several years ago. I love this shot and I was curious to see how it would translate into a filtered light image. Also I had to feature my cat peeking out from the blankets. Two photos using similar techniques but with totally different feels to them.

Tomorrow is the gallery talk for the My Team show at the Grosse Pointe Artists Association gallery at the War Memorial. I have three pieces in this show, including my first two filtered light prints. I’m excited to see how people respond to them. I had a few complements from fellow artists at the drop off. The talk starts a 2 tomorrow and is open to the public. If you can’t make it you can view the art online here, but it is always better in person.
