Today was the Gallery Talk for the My Team exhibition with the Grosse Pointe Artists Association. My three pieces in the show are conveniently displayed next to each other. It is a great show with some pretty amazing artwork. It was good to see several LPC members in the show and at the opening.

Some of the water bottles served at the opening had frozen, and started to thaw. I was intrigued by the bubbles and cracks in the clear ice and took and edited this picture before the talk started. In fact, I snapped a few nice pictures that might be useful in future art works.

It was nice seeing the sun out today. Even with the squinting and shading my eyes, I don’t like to complain lest the sun disappear for another month. Can’t look a gift horse in the mouth, right?
