As much as I jest about Mondays, today was not actually a bad day. It definitely didn’t go as per usual for Mondays nor as I had planned, but it’s all good. My well wishes and heathy vibes are out to you and anyone who is sick or run down right now. I know so many people who are sick right now. The flu and everything else is going around in full force in my area. I hope you are staying healthy. So far my immediate family has avoided the recent outbreaks, but influenza a is quite contagious, so we are not out of the woods yet. Thinking about these things and of metaphors to use in a poem inspired me to look up my bridge photos and find one to use for my filtered light series.
Tomorrow is my birthday, and it’s going to be a cold one! At least the house should be toast as I bake cupcakes to share with the students in my religious ed class. I bought a gluten free funfetti mix. It always seems like my birthday is on a really cold or really snowy day which discourages me from going out to get some of my birthday freebies. Who wants a shake or ice cream when it’s below zero out?
Is the flu and other winter viruses causing havoc in your circles?
