Today was one of those days that seemed like I fit two days o fb things into one day. And of course it feels like I didn’t get anything accomplished. I have a bad tendinitis flare in my shoulder so that’s not helping either. But I did pick up my ‘Starstuff’ artwork from Anton today and was inspired to give it a filtered light treatment. I just love this base photo and it lives in several variations of different composite photo pieces.

I also took some pictures of my cat. He was very cooperative- even after trimming his nails. I also played with the filters on a capture I took of my daughter while we FaceTimed. She taught me that feature and was posing for me.

She is such a great model. All my kids are subjects for my art. They probably have more original artworks of themselves than your average royal renaissance heir. My daughter even more- she has a wall of artworks featuring herself as the subject. She models for a couple art groups and is often gifted pieces. That combined with mine and my mom’s art is a significant collection.
Do you use your close family as subjects in your artwork?
