Stained Glass Cross Cake

Today my oldest son made his confirmation. I baked and decorated a very special cake for him. The look on his face when he saw it was priceless! The mass was beautiful! My son chose his sister to be his sponsor. She was so excited and takes her responsibility so seriously. I am so proud of my kids, and love that they have such great relationships with each other.

Congratulations!

My daughter is leaving for her mission trip to Columbia tomorrow. She is spending her week installing water filters as an act of service as well as a metaphor for scripture. Water is such a powerful symbol.

Tomorrow is the last day to catch the My Team show at the GPAA’s gallery at the War Memorial. My three pieces will be coming home, but I have Three others I’m bringing in Monday for the Blues and LPC’s My Favorites shows, which will be on view throughout the remainder of March and April. I also have pieces in the Posterity Gallery’s Portrait Parlor show and at Lawrence Street Gallery. Lots of ways to see my art!

In what ways have you been getting yourself out there?
