Today was a gorgeous days and driving back from picking up my art from the My Team show, I took advantage of my rare stint as passenger and snapped oodles of pictures of Lake St. Clair as we drove down Lakeshore Blvd. The water had so much variation in color and texture. My camera was only able to capture a fraction of the magic happening out there, but I have a few favorites that stand out to me.

In addition to the majestic view, the was a good amount of human activity. There must have been at least a dozen people walking their dogs today.

As deep and dramatic as that sky was today, I wanted to capture the simple beauty of this hawthorn tree as it patiently awaits spring. I love its shape and especially the beautiful fractal branched.
