Today was the Opening reception for Vital Signs at Lawrence Street Gallery. It has some amazing and impactful work in this show by the Women’s Caucus for Art in MI. I don’t belong to this group, but after meeting some of their artists, I am considering joining. I have several pieces in the members section of the gallery, and since it’s my first month, they have fluorescent tags around my art labels. At the opening I had lots of people stopping to welcome me to the gallery.

This evening I spent my art making time practicing my cello and talking with my daughter in Columbia, so I decided to make some filtered light images from the photos I took yesterday. I thought the shot with the One way sign was particularly appropriate for today.
