Tomorrow is my next basket weaving class so tonight I was finishing up my homework. It is very meditative as you get into the pattern. Similar to crochet or knitting- once you get into the rhythm you just start to flow. Although my reed kept getting tangled so that interrupted my groove a bit. I also had to keep shooing the cat away as he was particularly interested in chewing my reeds.

Earlier today I stopped by the clay studio for a bit to cut out some clay crosses for my religious education kids to design. They were very excited to work on this project in Clay. I’ll glaze them in their preferred colors and fire them at the studio. We don’t have our class next week for spring break so maybe they will be ready to string next class.
