Today I was not feeling great, but was excited to try out my watercolor card paper. I had a different brand of cards previously which worked pretty well, but I had used them up. When I went looking for something similar I stumbled across these- 250 cards with envelopes, cotton, A2 sized and great reviews. I bought 100 cellophane bags to start so I can sell them at Lawrence Street. They have a rack and most cards are priced around five dollars. That’s comparable to what they charge for commercially produced cards, but these are handmade.

I opted to do some floral designs for my first couple cards. I have plenty of reference photos on my phone of sunflowers and columbine so they were my first picks. I was thinking about some crocuses and tulips too. I have an idea to include a sheet of paper with some suggestions on greetings to write for different occasions. I know that filling in that blank card is intimidating for som people.

Where do you get your greeting cards, or do you make them by hand?
