This morning we had our clubs Zoom with June session and I decided to work on some ore cards to sell. I finished 4 cards during the two hours. It is fun to make these little cards and I am enjoying experimenting with different designs. The watercolor paper is different than my standard rag, but still nice to work with.

After Zoom, I met my daughter at Wayne State for a Peaceful Stitch Class. The slow stitching helps create a calming and stress relieving experience. I love the artist who taught the session, and always look forward to viewing her work in shows. Currently she has a gorgeous quilt of Uhura on display in the Gilda Snowden Memorial Show at the scarab club. It is worth a trip out to see it!
After the stitching class we left midtown to pick up the rest of the family and immediately returned to attend the opening reception at the Galerie Camille. My brother in law’s friend owns the gallery and is currently exhibiting his works alongside a Chinese artist. It’s a great show to check out.
