Summer storms and heat waves greeted us this week here in Michigan to welcome in the official beginning of summer.

In addition to celebrating Summer we also took my father-in-law out for a belated Father’s Day dinner. We went to El Charro’s and I snapped some photos to play with while we were waiting for our food. The puffy tacos were, as always, worth the wait. My father-in-law liked the pottery owl I gifted him but especially loved the scratchy tickets in his card.

On our way out I snapped a few pics of the fish tank for texture inspiration but this guy decided to pose for me.
