Moya, Jacquelyn Block

Today’s prompt for the Inktober challenge was Nomadic. After yesterday’s drawing of Aeryn Sun, I still had Farscape in mind when deciding we hat to sketch today. Moya and her fellow Leviathans are giant Space-whale living ships that travel the Uncharted Territories with their bonded Pilots. Starbursting their way from system to system they seems a perfect fit for the Nomadic theme.

As you are aware, I also participate in the American Cancer Society Photo a Day campaign, so for today’s pictures I spotted a couple hawks circling above the neighborhood. They were pretty high up, but you can see them in the pictures.

This evening was the GPAA’s Artist to Artist event for people with artwork in the My Masterpiece exhibit at the War Memorial. I love attending these events, it is always great to chat with fellow artists.

What ways do you socialize with fellow creatives?

I love how the messiness of the lines adds to the mood of the overall picture. As for the question, I dont :’) I can’t figure out how to, nobody around me has the same interests as me. And I am a bit of a shy person

Thanks. I used to feel the same, but my local art group is so amazingly welcoming and friendly that it really helped me to make new art connections. I hope you can find some art friends who share your interests some day.
