Today is it. My 366th post, one for each day of 2024. This year has been one filled with art and artistic experimentation. I have accumulated so much art to show, sell and gift. While I have started selling more this year, I have much room for improvement in marketing myself. I have every intention of continuing to make art daily , and hope to add a daily writing habit for 2025. I have been writing regularly this year, but if my experience with daily art practice holds true for writing, then I can expect to level up my writing skills considerably by engaging in a daily goal.

One other thing I am looking forward to is starting Cello lessons. My husband gifted me lessons for Christmas and I am excited to start this new challenge in January. That inspired my drawing today- using the tinted charcoal again , I made a self-portrait of me playing the cello. Forgive my form, as I haven’t had my first lesson yet. I’ll have to do another when I know what the proper positioning is.
