The inspirational theme for our art club this month is birds so I decided to pick a different bird for each day. Today is a woodpecker. It was hard getting this done today, because I took a nasty fall on the ice this morning and my head hit the pavement quite hard. my whole body is sore, but my head is excruciating.

I have to lead children’s liturgy in the morning so I hope my head feels better tomorrow. It is hard to concentrate on anything right now. I DMed a one shot D&D adventure for my husband and sons this evening and it was all I could do to keep focused on the game. They had fun though, so it was worth the pain. My seven year old can’t wait to play again.
